This morning in Writing we learned about "Fancy Nancy" words. These are fancy words that mean the same as a regular word we would use. Ask me about a fancy word for 'eat' and 'car'. We're excited to use these fancy words to make our writing more exciting!

                             
In Inquiry we watched a video all about animal adaptations. We also learned that animals have basic needs and sometimes they have to adapt to get these basic needs. The basic needs are water, shelter, air and food.

2. Toys, cards, and other personal items: We are asking students to please leave all toys, cards and other personal items at home. Often these toys and cards go missing and it's difficult to identify what belongs to who. Thank you for your understanding.
