Nov 29

Today we read the story 'One in a Snail, Ten is a Crab'. Students began to brain storm animals with 1,2,4,6,8 and 10 legs for an upcoming Math investigation. We thought it was funny in the story when the author said 100 is 10 crabs or..... 100 SNAILS!

1) Stephen's Backpacks: Royal Oak School is collecting new items for Stephen’s Backpacks. Our goal is to fill 100 backpacks for children this Christmas. Donations of new items such as mittens, hats, socks, small toys, craft things, toothbrushes, books are being accepted. Donations can be sent to school with your child and they will be put under the Christmas tree in the gathering space. Thank you for your support. We will begin collecting items in the gathering space beginning on Monday November 14th and will be accepting donations until Friday December 9th.

2) ATP payment/form: If you have not returned the field trip form or paid online for  please do so ASAP. Alternatively a cheque can be submitted to school as well.
