April 20

You're invited to the Grade 1 Celebration of Learning!
Please see your official invitation in your child's purple folder ðŸ˜€

Today we finished working on our good copy of our Wetland poems. We began colouring in our sketches using oil pastels. Today Ms. Stephenson taught us a new Math game. With a partner we each flipped over 1 card from our pile of cards. Then, we had to subtract the 2 numbers and shout out the answer! This was lots of fun and it really made us think! We had to be sure we started with the bigger number or else we couldn't subtract it! Maybe you can play this game with me at home!

We made a list poem for Spring. Ask me what a list poem is and then we can choose a word together and make a list poem for the word.
